St Peter's School

Livingstone’s formidable relationship with St Peters has been developed by the quality, cost, and time management that Livingstone endeavours to provide to all of their clients. As part of a long term strategy to improve the training and teaching facilities at St Peters school, Livingstone has constructed the Library, English block, Science block, School Pool facility and carried out general maintenance and alterations.

The removal of the old swimming pool made way for the construction of an impressive 25m² swimming pool. This heated 10 regulation lane swimming pool effectively accommodates for the schools pursuit of excellence in sporting by enabling students to swim all year round.

The impressive relocation of the school gym made way for the construction of a 1250m² library which included the construction of reading areas, computer laboratories, and vast shelving areas. Situated directly above the Library is the school’s English block which equals the library in size and quality. The English block houses eight classrooms, eight offices, and other meeting rooms.

The new high-tech Science block project included the construction of six new science laboratories, fitted with the latest in Novalab chemical resistant furnishings.

Livingstone’s Seismic work at St Peters involved strengthening and re-bracing the roofs and walls of the administration block. These works were necessary to enable the building to be compliant with general earthquake standards.
