At Livingstone we manage a very comprehensive apprentice training programme, encouraging our apprentices to be an active part of the industry and to grow and advance within our organisation.

We work closely with the Building and Construction Industry Training Organization (BCITO) to monitor our apprentice’s progression in line with the needs of the building and construction industry. Students who successfully complete this programme will be credited with the BCITO National Certificate in Carpentry. High achievers in this programme are also identified and are guided into Livingstone's Junior Foreman Program; part of the Livingstone training scheme.

We ensure regular contact and support for our trainees through a dedicated apprentice trainer and three student assessors. These trainers evaluate theory assignments; conduct onsite training; ensure quality control, productivity and most importantly commitment. We have a total of 25 individuals currently in the Livingstone Apprentice programme and we believe this is a vital pathway for any young construction professional.

We believe in supporting our team and affirming their skills in order to see them grow with us. The apprenticeship programme is a fantastic opportunity for those interested in the building industry.
