The multi award-winning Avantidrome was a journey for Livingstone Building. Livingstone was a major component in providing the Home of Cycling facility to the Waikato Region.

Construction of the Avantidrome started in 2012, comprising of 1,100 tonnes of structural steel, 3,500 m3 of concrete and 52 kilometres of hand-laid, hand nailed Siberian Spruce timber track. The structure stretches 77 metres wide by 120 metres long. Not only does this structure house a world-class cycling track, it also facilitates a bike shop, café, full gymnasium, Home of Cycling offices, High-Performance Head Sport, Bike NZ, Tri NZ, Waikato University laboratories, conference rooms and outside a skills park and the Te Awa cycleway.

Livingstone was able to complete the Avantidrome build ahead of time and under budget.
