Livingstone Building was engaged in an ECI capacity to assist with the final design documentation prior to lodging the Building Consent. Our ECI team collaborated with the client’s project team to provide value engineering options and increased efficiencies in methodology, on site time and cost savings.

The project involved construction of a new purpose-built, plastic injection moulding facility for TekPlas, who eventually tenanted the new industrial and office facility.

The overall facility is comprised of a two-storey office, a large warehouse area that will be fit out to accommodate the injection moulding equipment with a covered canopy linking the engineering workshop building. Construction also included driveway and carparking, fencing, lighting and landscaping.

A high specification finish was required, particularly in the client’s internal mould shop and clean room areas. Throughout the ECI phase, our team was fully aware of this requirement to successfully deliver to our client’s expectation.
