We currently have new opportunities for experienced Site Managers to join us on a variety of commercial projects.
As a Site Manager you will be responsible for organising all day to day activities on site to ensure our projects are built safely, on time, within budget and to our high standards.
The ideal candidate will enjoy leading others and come with strong commercial experience.
Responsibilities:
• Read and interpret plans and specifications
• Oversee Foremen, Carpenters and Apprentices as well other subbies
• Deliver toolbox talks and H&S inductions
• Identify and manage site risks as well as monitor QA & QC
• Manage client expectations and work collaboratively with all site staff
The successful candidate will have:
• Trade carpentry qualification
• 5 years’ experience in a hands-on carpentry position
• 2 years’ experience as a site manager
• Excellent communication and planning skills

Livingstone build award winning construction projects in the commercial, industrial and residential markets. In addition, Livingstone also operates a maintenance team which services both the residential and commercial markets.
We currently have a Foreman opportunity for a qualified Carpenter to join our Te Awamutu maintenance division.
The Role:
• Read and interpret plans and carry out carpentry work
• Organise orders of materials for jobs
• Run toolbox talks and safety meetings and ensure safety policies are followed
• Fill out job specific paperwork and sign off time sheets
• Manage risks as well monitor of QA & QC
• Mentor and support apprentices to ensure professional development
To be considered:
• You must be trade certified in carpentry
• Have a Full Drivers Licence
• Experience working on a variety of commercial or residential construction projects
• Excellent communication and planning skills
