Mission Heights Primary School Design & Build

We were awarded the Design & Build contract for Mission Heights Primary School and worked closely with the Ministry of Education, stakeholders and consultant team throughout the design and construction phases to deliver a completed facility that balances functionality, buildability and long-term value.

The project was based on a repeatable ASC Architects design, comprising six teaching spaces similar to the Te Papapa School development completed in 2021. Delivered as a multi-storey facility, the building was configured to make efficient use of the site while supporting safe and convenient student movement through strong integration with existing pedestrian connections and pathways.

Throughout the project, our in-house Pre-Construction and Commercial teams monitored and assessed design development from concept through to detailed design using BIM 3D modelling, detailed cost planning and staged programme management. This collaborative approach provided transparency around cost, programme and construction outcomes, enabling informed decision-making and supporting the successful delivery of the completed project.

The build came together in just 10 months, wrapping up three weeks ahead of schedule and within budget.
